business. If you are a frequent reader, you may already be far ahead and on

If you haven’t been reading, just check out my previous
articles and you’ll be amazed at the wealth of knowledge you’ll come across. It
will change your entire perspective of social media… I promise. ;)
Today, we’ll get into specifics and give examples of ways
you can use social media in your business. So grab a pen and paper and get ready
to learn.
These days, it’s no longer unusual to get an email from any
business with a link to “CONNECT WITH US ON FACEBOOK” or “FOLLOW US ON TWITTER”
or LinkedIn… just about any social media platform, but this is just the tip of
the iceberg of the possibilities on social media. Getting a few likes here and
there is nice as it builds public image but this is hardly enough. Here are a few ways you may use social media
as a business or as an individual looking to earn -:
- Social media platforms enable both businesses and individuals to listen to what their customers/prospective customers are saying about their business. This enables the owners to respond to questions and any complaints in real time to the satisfaction of their customers.
- Using social media platforms enables colleagues to interact, share information, discuss projects and ideas easily. A business can also use this as a platform to convey messages to the employees of the company and keep them up to date with upcoming events and other valuable information.
- Advertising job openings on other platforms like television and newspapers continues to be quite expensive. Social media provides a free platform to advertise job openings and recruit new talent. Influential blogs and other sites with a large audience may charge a little amount, but they benefit from the many advertisements that they show on their sites.
- While social media doesn’t replace other avenues of recruitment, it has a high level of engagement making it an important recruitment tool. It also provides employers to have a two-way conversation with job seekers.
- Social media has been a transformational tool when it comes to marketing. With its huge audience, reaching large groups is no longer a problem, all businesses have to do is interact online and convince customers to try their products.
- They can even hold online contests and promotions of their products to encourage participation. Posting ads as well is equally important. Google ads is an example of a useful tool when it comes to this, and the good thing is they can work within your budget, starting from as little as a dollar!!!
These are just a few of the ways you may use social media to
your advantage in business. It’s super easy right… all you have to do is start.Consistency is key in social media and as long as you are
consistent in what you do online, you will definitely achieve success.
